Starting a project full of energy, and losing the thread an hour later. Knowing you're capable, and still ending most days feeling like you're behind.

Hi, I'm Clive, an ADHD coach based in Bristol. I spent years working alongside people going through complex life changes, before training as a coach myself. These days I help ADHD adults turn all that overwhelm into steady, workable action.

About

Before coaching, I spent years in social care and community work in Bristol, supporting adults and young people through trauma, isolation, and the kind of systemic barriers that make everyday life harder than it should be. I've sat with people at some of their hardest moments, and I've learned that real change rarely comes from being told what to do. It comes from being properly understood, and then having someone in your corner while you work it out.

I also have ADHD myself, so this isn't just something I studied. I know what it's like to live with this brain day to day, and that's part of what shapes how I coach.

Coaching

I work with ADHD adults who are tired of forcing their way through life and want a different way forward. Not another system you'll abandon in three weeks, but a clearer understanding of how your brain actually works, and practical support putting that to use.

Sessions are 1:1, collaborative, and judgement-free. We might work on the gap between wanting to start and actually starting, or the shame that builds up after years of feeling like the problem, too much one minute and never enough the next (sometimes called Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria).

Sometimes it's the exhaustion of masking, working twice as hard just to look like you're keeping up, or waiting for the perfect system or the right burst of energy before you'll even let yourself begin. Or it's about how you've been getting by until now, whether that's needing the adrenaline of a deadline just to get moving, or leaning on drink or something else to switch off. I blend practical, strengths-based coaching with plain-English explanations of how ADHD brains work and simple mindfulness tools, so you understand your own brain as well as you manage it.
